Study Zone

Group study sessions designed to help you stay focused and motivated to complete independent work

The Study Zone offers 2-hour sessions that provide a supportive and productive environment using the Pomodoro Method, a time management strategy that breaks work into focused intervals followed by short breaks.

At the beginning of a session, participants are guided to set specific goals that are appropriate to the time available. During the focused study intervals, you'll work independently on your own tasks, while the breaks offer an opportunity to socialize, encourage one another, and share tips. This approach promotes realistic goal setting and sustained concentration to get stuff done.

Our Peer Coaches act as facilitators, providing structure and accountability throughout the session. They create a welcoming atmosphere where participants can stay on track together.

All sessions take place in the Weldon Library Community Room. Snacks are provided!
