Appointment Booking Instructions

Here are some instructions to book with learning specialists through Western Connect.  Please follow the directions below.

  1. Log in to Western Connect.
  2. On the left-hand side, choose Appointments.
  3. Choose Learning Development & Success and click on Book by Appointment Type
  4. Click on Book under any of the options you have available. Available dates will appear on the right side of the screen.
  5. Choose the day and time that works for you and follow the prompts from there. Some appointments will only be available virtually, some in-person, and other appointments will allow you to choose between an in-person or virtual format.

You will receive an appointment confirmation once booking is complete.

  • Appointments can benefit students who are experiencing academic difficulty and successful students who want to improve performance
  • For students experiencing academic difficulties, it is strongly advised that they arrange an appointment as soon as possible. See Disappointing Grade? for additional information.
  • Learning Development support is available for all Western students, from first year to graduate school.
  • Students may self-refer to the service or be referred by a professor or staff member.
  • This service is available to all students at Western University.
