What is Peer Assisted Learning?
The Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) Centre is the place to develop effective learning strategies and get free, one-to-one, course-specific help. Western and Affiliate University College students are welcome. Help is provided by Learning Peers who are trained, upper-year Western students who have excelled academically, and are ready to help you SUCCEED.
How Do I Access the PAL Centre?
The PAL Centre offers both in-person and virtual help. The PAL Centre opens during the academic year and operates Monday-Friday (except for Reading Week breaks) until April 8th, 2024. Please see the schedule below for our specific weekly hours, locations and links. No appointment is needed and help is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.

To access PAL please:
- Drop by the PAL Centre location identified above or visit us virtually via Zoom as indicated above. Please note that you will need to be logged into your Western Zoom account to access the Zoom link.

- You will be greeted by a friendly PAL Ambassador who will help you to sign-in, identify your questions and learning needs, and connect you with a Learning Peer for free, 1:1 course specific and/or learning strategy help.
