What is Peer Assisted Learning?

The Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) Centre is the place to develop effective learning strategies and get free, one-to-one, course-specific help. Western and Affiliate University College students are welcome. Help is provided by Learning Peers who are trained, upper-year Western students who have excelled academically, and are ready to help you SUCCEED.

How Do I Access the PAL Centre?

The PAL Centre offers both in-person and virtual help. The PAL Centre is open Monday-Friday during the regular academic year (except for Reading Week breaks) beginning September 18th, 2023. Please see the schedule below for our specific weekly hours, locations and links.  No appointment is needed and help is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
